Kielder Star Camp

Recommended Posts

We had a clear night at Kielder Star Camp on Thursday so I was able to get the camera out for some pics - I was a bit torn between regretting not having the full imaging setup and being relieved that I wasn't having to work through the Kielder gremlins that attack everyones guiding... and having just driven up from Exeter I'm not sure I could have faced rushing to set everything up. So...

I met up with @davew and Nick and we went to a nearby disused railway viaduct for Dave to chase some Orion reflections in the reservoir  :)

The white dot on the left just above the puddle is Dave, the red one me :)

... and some obligatory Milky Way shots taken from work in progress timelapses

I would never want to complain about a clear night and will happily take one when ever it comes but doing an all nighter seems to be getting harder and harder nowadays...

I notice you've enhanced the sky and not me !! I don't blame you :)

You always capture a nice Milky Way so well done again.

Nick in silhouette is particularly nice,

Dave

Mark. You were missed.
