NGC2392 - Eskimo Planetary Nebula

A DSO image in planetary settings.

This is the Eskimo planetary nebula. Small as they are, this one has less than 1arcmin.

The image was taken with a C11 f10 and ASi224. No cut-off filter was used.

The capture was made with Firecapture and 2s exposures. The final processing was in PI.

Just goes to prove what can be achieved with "ridiculously" short exposures. What was the total time?

The total capture was 4 videos of 300s (150 frames each). I put everyone together with Pipp and then passed on AS3! where the 25% better were stacked. I think it was almost 250 frames.

 

Really easy way to get images. It does not even need guiding.

The planetary approach has to be the way to go on this kind of target.
