Got this shot of Mercury with iPhone 5 afocal through 10” dob with 15mm eyepiece. Conditions good but seeing predictably difficult. No processing. I’m quite sure with moments of good seeing I could determine the 49% phase when I was viewing visually.

Hi i am doing similar afocal shot but on Jupitar.  I am using iPhone 6 on DOB 8 but stacking for 60 shots using  SaturnCam iOS app.  I think you can see more if you use in your case.
