New Documentary on the Apollo 11 Mission

Having read this review and had a look at the trailer, this new production is very firmly on my "must see" list for the 1st half of 2019

I was 9 when Neil Armstrong climbed down onto the lunar surface, in black and white. Not married, as far as I recall though 

Would guests from other Astro Soc's be able to attend the HAS event Mark ?

Saw the movie First Man.  Was awesome seeing / hearing an Apollo launch on the big screen. Not missing this one !  

P.S. Was recently accused of being "one of them" because I " believed" in the Apollo Landings.  Apparently there is moon rock in one of the photos proves its all a hoax.  

Anyhow, sky in clearing here, back to work !

Bringing the kids to that if it is in the local IMAX

Watching 'The Farthest' was quite a moving experience on the big screen.

I suppose it's like the draw of observing through a 100° EP ?

John its going to be a free public event organised by Project Link and will be based at the Madley Satellite Station. When the event is finalised I will contact you.

Does anyone know the UK release date for this film.

My friend in America has seen it and says it was fantastic especially in IMax.
