I have a great condition mak127. No idea on the logistics of sending to Croatia though.

I will have a look at costs.  I have sent some very delicate stuff to Italy and China  via eBay so I know it is doable!

Which one mak127? What would you ask for it? FLO is sending via dhl and asking about 15-20£..

I don't wish to hijack the thread.

Shipping costs vary considerably, depending on who you are.

If, as a retailer, you are shipping tens of parcels daily, you negotiate a contract at very good rates with carriers.

If you make a single booking as an individual, you can often be expected to pay 3x or 4x the contract price.

A further consideration on an expensive item (like a scope) is insurance.
Many carriers refuse insurance on 'glassware' or on used items regardless of their nature.
The astro retailer sells new items and has specifically agreed 'fragile and glass' insurance with the carrier.
