Sat night - clear to NW of UK only

Sun night - OK from N Midlands to Scotland only

Next week - Much more promissing with NW flow (clear seeing as well as less cloud)

Saturn 5 is correct the cold front is now expected to start to track south earlier than expected (on Friday) which will giveScotland a chance of some seeing now on Friday night. Lucky you..
