why are my stars little circles

hi everyone im finally getting to the point im happy with my images however! my stars ar small circles and not points of light why is this its driving me nuts .. any help will be very very much appreciated ive attached an image so you can see what i mean thanks again in advance.

I got bored of downloading the image at 45MB.  Can you post something smaller, perhaps as a PNG, say?

I it likely to be one of two things.  Focus or stacking.  It looks like it is in focus OK, so I suspect you are using DSS and have the cosmetic tab ticked.  This often thinks stars are hot pixels and erases them, so you end up with holes in your stars.

Yup, my guess was right.  Move the sliders to as low as possible and untick those boxes.

I only know because it happened to me, and "another legend" helped me out.
