Setting on the 17th

For some inexplicable reason I woke at 4am this morning so decided to make a drink. As it was a little foggy I thought the moon might be reasonably steady so decided to get up and image it.

I took a little over 50 with my canon on the 60mm tak at just after 4.30 when it was getting a bit low, about 8°, so a hint of colour was creeping into its surroundings from the atmosphere.  I’m not sure it was any steadier but pleased I captured it.   Hope you like it.

I decided to reprocess this. I applied some Deconvolution early on in the linear stage which has made quite a difference. I also used the camera white balance but desaturated a little.
