Camera ran into mount

Hi all,

I woke up this morning having left my imaging session open last night whilst I went to sleep, not thinking about a meridian flip, so the scope pointed at the zenith, DSLR was tucked against one of the azimuth adjustment knobs and the mount making a clicking noise. Will it have caused any damage? 

I feel a bit stupid this morning for not thinking about this, 3 hours of lost subs I'm not bothered about just hope the mount is alright.

So sorry to hear this.  I feel your pain.  A similar thing happened to me a while ago...

All was well in the end for me, with just a few damaged cables.  The mount was fine, although it sounded bad at the time.

Hoping for a good outcome for you too...
