Polar scope EQ5/CG5

would anyone know whether a Skywatcher EQ5 polar scope fits a Celestron CG5 Mount?

Sorry, this probably way too late for an answer, but I only just noticed this post.

Yes, after asking a similar question on here, I bought a new EQ5 polar scope for my CG5 mount, and it fitted perfectly. Same thread, same diameter hole, same length. The mount casting appear to be identical.

I received some great advice on here, explaining the "new" reticule which works in conjunction with a free computer program that makes it very easy to set the exact offset of the pole star for any date/time.
