Finally after much consideration I have took the plunge and purchased a meade lx 65 with 6" mak. 

Also have an altair astro 80ed-r and baader zoom lense and altair premium diagonal. Altair 50mm scope for alignment with cross hair reticule.

I have had the altair astro gear for few months. Haven't used any of it yet. 

Hopefully get to try it out on Sunday as there looks to be a break in the clouds Sunday eve. 

Thanks for looking. Expecting it to be quite a learning curve since I've upgraded from a skywatcher dob.
