Chain of stars name

A few years ago l was shown a chain of multi coloured stars the name of which l cannot remember.

Apologies for lack of further information, can anyone help I'm based in the UK

It’s a lovely one, best in a widefield view I think, although NGC1502 is a good to view at higher powers.

I have two pairs of binos, 7x50 and 10x50. The 7s are better quality but the 10s have the edge on mag

Excuse me ?     I AM NGC 1502     Please do not “view” me at any power.   I very strongly object to being looked at for any length of time.   GOT IT ?     Ok then.   As long as you understand, I’m prepared to overlook this.  ??

I think I got it in binos, but couldn't see any colours (Bresser Hunter 7x50s)

Wondering if it could have been Markarian's Chain. This is a string/chain of galaxies and wouldn't be different colours unless seen under heavy industrial pollution. 

Kemble seems a more fitting answer.
