So, what did I miss? :)

It's been a while guys and gals. Packed away in the summer and the months just flew by!
Hope you all had a good Christmas and new year. Looking forward to catching up with all the images.

Peace. :)
Pete.

Welcome back Pete, wish I could wave away all the clouds we have been getting,

Hoping for Clear Sky's.

I'm sure you all know how it goes...

Packed away in the summer with the intentions of having a fantastic winter (as i kinda know what i'm doing now) and boom! Unexpectedly had to move house in November. (through no fault of our own) House we're in now is not suitable for imaging as there is a (white) street light right outside (front and back) :( Although I have transferred some gear to the in-laws over in Dorset (Wool) however we only get over once a month or so and the last time we were over it was raining so no luck there.
House hunting at present (in a dark(ish) place) so hopefully I'll catch a few hours before summer.

Thanks for the welcome guys and gals.
Clear skies to you all! :)

Pete.

street light right outside

I know how that feels - I have two of the pesky things, one SE and the other SW - which is why I only do imaging now. I find the led lights are better than the old orange ones because they are better directed downwards and so the "circle of contamination" is smaller. But, if things are too bad, there is always narrowband ...

Where I am, contact the local electricity supply company, and give then the pole number, and they will install a shade on street lights facing towards your house

Reduce glare I was experiencing by 90%

Cheers

Now there's a thought...
I never did get around to looking at narrow band. Tried DSLR then moved on to RGBL with an ASI.
Might have to sweet talk the wife for new filters! 🤪
