Comet C/2018 Y1 Iwamoto Near Earth on February 12

Comet C/2018 Y1 Iwamoto is expected to pass 0.3 AU from Earth on 2019 FEB 12 at a JPL estimated magnitude of +10.5. It is currently at magnitude 13.6 in the constellation Virgo.

Photos and descriptions of the comet would be welcome additions to this thread.

Stellarium shows it to be nicely placed nr Regulus, almost due S at Midnight.  Predicted mag is around 10th, but we all know how reliable comets are on the magnitude front, don't we !!!! 

Now just need the clear skies to go with it!  Fingers crossed.
