I'd say about a 114mm (maybe a 130mm) Newt on an EQ2. Thats a guess though.

If it's brand new, there ought to be a document containing all the specs. surely.

Never throw the boxes away until you are sure it is a keeper at least. And certainly don't bin any technical Info.

I just tend to treat ads like this with a bit of caution.

114mm f5 would just about fit what measurements he has provided.

I believe that this is a Skywatcher 130 Reflector on an EQ2 mount like this:-

He says it is 6" diameter so I would say a 130 on a Eq2 mount.

The seller has a good feedback rating at least. If it is almost new, it makes it a worthwhile item to bid on. I still wonder about the lack of Info. though.

I'd bet its a 130PM on an EQ2 - though theres something near rge red dot finder that doesnt look right - almost as if its a non-standard rdf.

Its already bid up to £82 so I'd let it go to be honest - mine sold for £90 and was spotless. They go quite cheap if you hang around.

Yep, the white cable leading out from the mount would suggest it is the motorised version. Quite a bargin and (at the risk of repeating myself! Stifle your yawns please ) an excellent scope!

He said it was 6", so that makes it a Skywatcher 150.

If it's an EQ2 (which I'm sure it is) it must be a 130pm because the 114 comes on an EQ1 and the 150 on an EQ3 as far as I know. Went for £91.00 which is probably about right
