AR2731 Today, Prominence & Full Disc in 6562.8A | Dec 23rd 2018

Hello,

AR2731 is rounding the limb, mostly decayed but you can still notice some of it's little plage area. There's very little else on the surface, a minor filament here and there. One significant prominence is lurking the limb. Full disc is a mosaic made with a ST80 masked to 60mm and a Quark. The rest is with the 150mm F8 and Quark & PST etalon I'm testing and learning to process differently.

Very nice MalVeauX,

I don't know whether this is typical of solar processing, i don't come on this board much at all, but the solar surface on some looks like a fluffy grey carpet.

Soothing to the soul ?
