Below the bright beacon of Venus were Jupiter and Mercury quite close together. I observed them with the Canon bins from centrally heated comfort. Jupiter obvious first with its clear disc and Mercury a little above and east. Interesting to imagine what I’m seeing - looking past the ‘close’ Mercury to Jupiter way out there.
