Early Evening 19/12

After way too long managed a short observing session.
Aristarchus/Herodutus together with Schroter's valley looked good, they were in an ideal position near the terminator as was Marius, I don't think I've seen the domes to the north and west so numerous. Unfortunately there was a lot of high cloud/haze so had to be patient for good views. 
There was so much cloud no stars were visible through the murk but nevertheless I enjoyed myself for an hour or so each side of dinner.

Thanks Doug, it had been so long I had to to relearn my set up routine but as you say grab it while you can.

Unfortunately no chance tonight charl, 'til just after mid-day it was quite bright but been lashing down on and off ever since ?
