A quick attempt at 45P, I realised I wasn't going to get M45 and 46P in the same field with my scope so decided to switch to a Canon 50mm lens. Almost impossible to focus for some reason so eventually decided enough was enough and took some shots.

This is around 50 x 30second shots stacked in DSS with a very quick process. Cropped to get rid of the terrible coma this lens gives!

Great photo! The moon left me nothing to look at but the faint glow. 

But, I did see it!

I have about 500 subs to sort through and see if I can improve the shot but still too tired :D

Thanks!  I took some from about 9:30-11:30pm, then I packed up, but I did manage to capture it.
