Quick reminder Comet 46P science potential...

Recommended Posts

Just a reminder everyone that your images have potential to contrbute to some good science ?   I'm studying 46P and now that it is getting so big and bright wide field images really come into play.

If you fancy getting involved there are a few things to remember

If you could do a short log of your location, equipment, conditions, timing (UTC), number of exposures, data reductions etc that would be great.  Raw data and the associated calibration files is ideal for use.  Try not to saturate images.

I'm hoping to get a quick guide to astrometrica processing out in the next couple of days.  So then you can have a go at science with your own images ?

(I'm hoping to get some of my own images tonight... wish me luck!)

Thanks

Clear skies

Helen
