tomato
This object is currently nicely placed from my limited imaging location, this is 135 minutes with an Esprit 150, Mesu 200, G2-8300. Calibrated and stacked in APP, processed in APP, Startools and GIMP. This is one of my favourite nebulae as in a sky full of DSOs of unimaginable age, M1 is much younger than mankind itself, being only 964 years old. There is a brilliant APOD showing it evolving in a time lapse sequence over 10 years, there aren't many DSOs that can do that! Thanks for looking. happy-kat
Very delicate looking DSO and enjoyed the narrative.
tomato
This is with another 60 mins of data and processed 100% with APP. Definitely more filament data in the Nebula but too red? I am going to keep adding an hour’s worth of data at each imaging session as long as I can to see how this develops...
