I been playing around with this as it's such terrible weather this week. Definitely more useful that stellarium, but quite unforgiving interface imho.

Anyway, is V3 the way to go? The old 2.76 is still the 1st choice on goggling. Specifically, I can't find a way to "animate" the display in the way that you can in v 2.76 or stellarium. Both of those allow you to track and object and animate the sky. All I can do in CDC V3 is advance the sky in a step-wise manner, one click at a time. Anybody now how to get v3 to do this?

Obviously, this is not essential, but I found it fun!

May I ask a question- how CPU hungry is CdC compared to SN5 pro ?

Dunno about sn5 pro, but CDC is much gentler on the CPU that stellarium. Stellarium grinds my eePC, and eats battery power as a result.
