Morning Glory

Good Morning fellow SGLers.

Up at 05:50am  for a nature call, and glanced out of my landing window
to check whether it was still raining, and was greeted with a lovely sight  highish up in the
NE Sky.   A pretty  waning crescent Moon, and a bright Venus. 
Rooted out my Canon 1000D, and fired off a couple of exposures.
This one at iso 400 and 60th second, looked the best. so I chose it to show here..

Wasn't it stunning this morning!. I was out walking mum's dog at 6.15am, so enjoyed the view

I was just pleased to see the rain had stopped Rob. 
But when I saw this sight, it was a huge lift of spirit.

I saw it too this morning! What a fantastic view. The thin clouds were making Venus much bigger for some reason   Sadly, only clouds here since 2 weeks... Can't wait for clear skies...

The weather is looking a little better mid week.. fingers crossed!
