Orion Nebula M42 - Samsumg S8

Taken using my 300p dob goto and a 25mm EP using my Samsung S8 mounted on a NexYX adaptor and the photo app Camera FV-5 with a 8 sec exposure at ISO 800, images post processed a little in GIMP

Viewing was bad - almost a full moon nearby and M42 was low above local roof tops and in the worst part of the sky with regards to light pollution so hope to try again soon with better viewing conditions

Still a great shot Paul, Trapezium not split but clearly there, pretty impressive for such a widefield  shot.

A Better Camera "the app" set to night mode really lifts the sensitivity of almost every smartphone I've used it with. Nice image, you have captured for only 8 seconds...well done ?
