Spaceship leaves atmosphere seen from the ISS

Recommended Posts

A unique bit of footage.  Being "old", it also amazes me that the guy can post it on Twitter from space!

That's superb.  Love the ISS orbital sunrise video after it too :thumbright:

It is great, I wish it would embed properly.

I assume it is sped up, I'd happily watch it play out at actual speed.

That is amazing. I had to watch it a couple of times. :)

Remarkable bit of imaging. very clear to follow the space craft, and the separations were
easily seen too.
Great Post, thank you.

I love the stars show through the upper atmosphere and how they show the relative velocity (direction) on both the rocket and the the stage engine as it falls back to Earth.  That really is an amazing video.

Yes I wondered about that - I did a search on you tube and a version there has it titled as "time lapsed".

I looked on YouTube for a real time version. Watched a few different videos but began to despair at the comments section ?

Flat earth! Not.

Fake footage. It's well known on the Internet that the Earth is flat!?
