Grab and Go and Hand Guide !

Dodging cloud tonight so time to experiment. Fixed a SW ED72 to a skytee mount and tried to hand guide while imaging. Seems to work but would have been easier with three hands or perhaps four ! Full picture is a mosaic of four frames while the other two were shots using a x2 barlow

Nice, but the full disc looks soft compared to the Barlow images. Perhaps focus wasn't as spot on?

I agree Neil but I think its stitching four panes rather than focus. I wonder if the field is that large there is slight distortion at field edge so hence they don't overlay exactly.

Had another crack at the full image. Cut down the amount of overlap by cropping images first in PS. Think its better.It was late last night, that's my excuse !
