Cygnus Wall and Pleiades with a small chip.....

After a bit of faffing with the backfocus of the focal reducer, and a lot of help from @vlaiv  in terms of data processing ( cheers Vlaiv),

I have started to get some wider than usual DSO shots with the 414ex mono, which many would consider 'too-big' for a small chip without going into the realm of the mosaic...... and at the moment the prospect of a mosaic in LRGB (Ha) (O3)  is akin to watching all the past series of "I'm a Celebrity....."  continously  ?.....  maybe one day..

Here are two (badly framed)  examples I have taken recently...  Top =  Cygnus Wall, Bottom = the Pleiades

Equipment   :   SW Equinox 80 with 0.6x FR,   ATIK  414ex mono   on NEQ6

Cygnus wall :   Bi Colour  Ha (9x 3mins),   O3 (7 x 3 mins)

Pleiades       :   LRGB   ( 50 x 1mins on all filters)

Darks and Bias applied.

Have fun out there folks.

Sean.
