Moon mosaic from 19 frames

Hi Everyone,

I also took advantage of the nice weather on 18 october, and captured 19 AVI-s of the Moon with IC capture on my 10 Skywatcher, using a DFK31 camera with a 3x Meade barlow. Seeing was really excellent ! I recorded 300-400 frames per film.

Processing was done in Registax ( inclusive waveletting ), than I puzzled them together in Photoshop ( original files size is above 50 Mb ). It was a work for at least 2-3 evenings, and I am very pleased with the result . Some parts are saturated unfortunately, but lesson learned for the next time. Any comments are welcome !

I started to use this picture as a quick Moon reference on my laptop, maybe I will complete it with some annotations for the most interesting features.

I didn't take colesups that evening, since this was the end of my observing session ( next day working, you know.. ). Thinking back I'm sorry for that, it was exceptionally good seeing. Now waiting for the next opportunity.
