That seems way on the high side for a Type 1.  They generally go for $90 to $140 here in the states on our classifieds.  Even on ebay where buyers aren't as savvy, they're generally sold for under $200.  That ad is asking about $260, which is 80% of new for a 9mm NT6!

oh wow the price of secondhand glass has come down then. Used to be around a third off for decent ep's 2nd hand, obviously the market has fallen somewhat

It's a little hard to figure out what 65% of new is for a roughly 30 year old eyepiece.  Do you go by the original price, the original price adjusted for inflation, the new price for it's replacement (the T6), or something else?  There is also the fact that it has been superceded by a newer and better eyepiece (again, the T6) in almost all respects, further depreciating its resale value.  Nagler resale values also took a big hit when the Ethos were introduced and people started dumping their Naglers to get them.
