I am looking forward to your review. I have heard good reviews about this filter from across the pond.

That is very interesting filter.

Do you have any stats on FWHM of those two peaks?

I can see one interesting benefit of such filter to try out - RGB like narrow band imaging - Shorter exposures in Ha, OIII and SII (provided that it covers all three wavelengths) for "color" and Lum done with such filter.

Hi,

here is a more detailed graphic.

  • Passes two major narrowband 10nm transmission lines — Ha (656.3nm) & O-III (500.7nm) at high transmission rate (~90%)DuoNarrowband_Spectrum_2_EN.thumb.jpg.bdb41869dbe4f834d47a6e8277828215.jpg

A great idea!

But it does rely on using an OSC camera to separate the OIII and Ha image data.

Will be really interested to see how it performs. I was thinking about this as part of a dual rig a while back.

I ordered one of these from Cyclops Optics about 6 weeks ago still no sign of it🙁

Very interested to see how it goes for you.

Interesting filter indeed. Reminds me a bit of the Beloptik tri-band ERF I have for solar imaging, which passes bands around H-alpha, Ca-K, and the solar continuum band in green.

I can see why they wouldn't add S-II, as it would not be separable from H-alpha by an OSC camera.
