An old pic of Jupiter

Taken a good 8 + years ago with my Meade etx90 and lpi. Can’t remember the details but a fair few images taken and stacked in RegiStax.

That is the best example i have seen of what Jupiter looks like through scopes, like my Mak 150 for example, identical really, it should be shown to newcomers who ask what they could see through scopes.

I agree with Sunshine. That looks just like how Jupiter appears in my 127mm Mak. A great introductory image to planetary observation with a telescope
