Ken82
Hi guys Just looking for a little help on this one. If you stretch my images you can see a dark patch to the top of M31. My flats dont appear to show the the same patch which is odd as i never changed focus etc etc. Im going to try taking the flats again but what do you think? Are my flats bright enough for one? AstroCava
You can see a bright patch too with the same shape near the top border... Perhaps a change in orientation between flats and lights? Have fun! Sergio
Ken82
Thanks, Where on the top border Sergio? Ive taken new flats and the unfocused object does turn up but in a different position so im going to clean all the filters etc etc. Is there any way to recover these lights ? Thx I've just had a quick look in PS and a combination of clone, burn, dodge and hue/saturation can help here. How to do it in PI though, I can't advise, I'm afraid! Ken82
I used clone stamp in pixinsight in the end and pleased with the result. Thanks for the input
