Hi,

The first time I gave it a try to capture the moon during daylight hours. I had seen other peaople pull it off succesfully. All the below images were taken and processed similarly:

captured with a 300mm f/20 cassegrain, ASI 174mm and baader IR685 filter, Firecapture 2.6

processing: Autstakkert, Lynkeos3 and Photoshop

enjoy the images and please feel free to share your toughts or comments.

Wouter.

Hi,

well I was expecting it to be much more of a challenge. But all in all it went pretty smooth with very little difference compared to night time imaging. Yes there was a little bit loss of contrast due to the background being a bit brighter. But that was easily fixed in post processing.

Wouter.
