M78 with 100D and Star 71.

This is my first effort for ages, what with holidays and the usual cloudy nights. This was an experiment really, I wanted to try imaging without filters as it spoils the colour so I reduced the iso to 100 to see if I could get a reasonable length exposure without washing the image out. So this is 35 X 5min, iso 100, DSS and PS.

Seems to be OK but I'm not sure what is good or otherwise these days! It was nice to get some imaging in though and I also got 4 hours of Pleiades  that I will process later.

Very nice Tim, I did consider this last night, then ended up on IC410.  Plus right enough havent noticed many images from you recently, this is a great comeback
