Hello all

Just looking for ideas on what could be the problem with image,taken today and processed in Autostakert with my usual default settings,turned out so bad that didn't do anything further to it,also tried it in Registax and that gave me a double ghostly type image,haven't a clue what I am doing wrong so if you have any ideas once again I will be very grateful

Just to add that the original unprocessed image does not look anywhere near as bad

used a zwo asi 174mm and was a 20 sec exposure

I have seen this problem before when the disc is very bare. I tend to use larger alignment boxes, automatically scattered over the disc in AS!3. That often works

Check for passing clouds and limit frame them out .

 

Also i know it is agaist the rules but try running through on the planetary stack routine.

If the full disk is in the frame, I always run using planetary alignment. Works a treat, as a rule
