EQMOD parameter

when I set up my eqascom then click on the ok bar I get a message saying eqmod error parameter. Is there anything I can do to stop this message from coming up again?

Have you assigned the mount to the correct COM port ?

Use the search com port button , it needs to show 'found' before clicking ok

com 7 I'm using Device manager shows that one to use and it does show found.

I also believe that you can get this error if you haven't set up your Obsys location correctly - might be wrong along time since I did this - thats my excuse !!!

Just checked my location and it was down as:- w002degrees 14'111.8". oops added to many one's there. I've rechecked my gps device and reset the location pressed ok and this it closed down, no error message so looks like this was the problem. I'm now going back to the scope and it with the scope connected.
