7nm or 12nm Ha Filter?

I live in some of the most light polluted skies, between bordal class 8 & 9. I hear that Ha Filters work wonders for light polluted backyards. I currently have a nikon D3300 which I am soon to astromod and I will need to know whether I should get the 7nm or the 12nm Filter. Any help is appreciated.

The lower the better .

Its all about narrowing the band of light so 7nm would be better.

I am getting great images from DSLR with a 12nm filter. I recently bought a 7nm one but I haven’t used it on the same camera. Either would be good
