Everything about the image is right but what makes it pop is the three dimensionality arising from the colour and lighting of the Jellyfish. Great astrophotography rightly acknowledged.

Yes, congratulations Steve & Barry - well deserved indeed!

Nice that the APOD text also includes some info about the image as such and not only the astronomical objects.

I agree. We were pleasantly surprised with the write up when we looked at the APOD site this morning.
