cmos/cdd and camera lens fov

Hi All,

Just wondering if there is any software that shows you the fov when using a camera lens on a dedicated astro camera. All I can seem to find are ones for telescopes.

Or am I just being stupid. Do I just use the custom telescope in astro tools and 135mm @ f2.8 is just 135 fl and 2.8 aperture?

Not really sure how a 135mm camera lens would compare to my 130pds.

The field of view calculator can be configured for custom lenses.

Yes, just use custom telescope, your 135mm f2.8 is 135mm focal length and aperture 48mm as a telescope.

Your field of view will be 4.8 times wider with the 135mm lens.
