The Iris Nebula NGC7023

The Iris Nebula, also known as NGC7023 and Caldwell 4. A bright reflection nebula 1300 light years away and 6 light years across. I imaged this on the 9 October with an Esprit 150ED, ZWO ASI1600mm and ZWO LRGB filters. 135min lum and 60mins each RGB. ASI1600 set at unity gain, flats, flat darks and darks. Processed in Pixinsight and Photoshop.

Hi Dave,

The more results I see from this camera and the more convinced I am I've made the right choice in ordering one! Can I ask how long your exposures were and if you have to deal with light pollution?

Hi Dave, I use Unity gain together with 60s for lum, 120s for RGB and either 300 or preferably 600s for Ha and Oiii.  I'm semi rural so some LP but not too bad
