The Bubble - finally

Spent most of the night trying to get the Bubble into the frame, was not sure I could pick it up on the DSLR but finally managed it.

14 x 150sec subs (35 mins) with unmodded 400D, ED80 unguided on EQ5 at ISO1600, not much but gives me hope for another night. Second image is a crop of the full frame.

A nice capture Brendan.....good in fact for your 1st attempt.......You never know what you can pick up using your DSLR until you try.......

Thanks Guys, as you say Mark always worth trying and experimenting, will give it a go on the 6" Newt next time, should be able to get a better image scale than the ED80.

Nice shot Brendan. I'm suprised you picked up so much with an DLSR camera, I might give it a go myself after seeing that image.

Good image Brendan. I'm with Billy, it never hurts to try, the worst you can get is nothing for a bit of time.
