Here's an image that I took of the moon with the 8" amd a toucam pro on the 16th December last year.

It was 210 frames hand picked from about 500...

And no Astroman, I haven't got a clue what it's called...

I went through my lap top last night - I was working on a project last year and the year before to get an image of the moon at every phase - 1 a day.

I was really looking for any moon shots, I had about a 1000 shots which included the daily phase one's.

But (you may remember) that I had PC problems and had the HDD replaced? which wasn't a problem as I had all my images backed up on the HDD of my work laptop....

Then my work laptop got nicked from my desk - bye bye all my images.

This image is one of about 8 images that I have left... :)

Thats a real shame Ant dont suppose you posted your images on the Net somewere then you could retreave them?

I know how you feel about loseing images Ant i have lost 600+ images ok not great because they were from when i just started out but still it's nice to have them :? The one thing i told myself was ok there gone next time i will make them even better and this worked a treat so dont dispare ant you will get some wonderfull images in the future matey :)

this is a little off tpoic but the real sad thing for me was severl hundred pic's of Jamie crowing up that were lost also... just hadn't got around to saving on CD :) they can't be replaced!
