"Citizen science" solar storms project

I'm not sure this is the best forum, but anyhow...

My wife phoned me whilst waiting to pick the children up from school today because Radio 4's "Inside Science" programme was covering this project:

I've not seen it mentioned here before that I recall.  Thought it might be of interest on those nights when it's bucketing down.
