A Few of My Favorite Planets...

Recommended Posts

I made this composite of some of my favorite planetary images, all but Venus coming from imaging sessions in 2018. This has been a mammoth year of imaging for me with Mars reaching an extreme perigee, but I've spent some significant time with Jupiter, Saturn and Venus as well. Saturn was taken using my trusty old Orion Deep Space Video Camera II. Jupiter and Mars were taken with the Orion 5MP StarShoot Solar System Camera. Venus was taken at prime focus with my Nikon DSLR, a polarizing filter and an eyepiece zoom attachment. Well, enough talk. Here ya go!

Cheers!

Reggie :D

That's what I say everytime I go out under the stars. Somehow the camera always ends up set up ?
