Hi,

I have been saying I would organise a new club based around Belper.

The idea is to meet at a selection of country pubs and if clear observe there with permission or at a nearby dark public space.

The club would be organised here but have a small committee to meet Federation of Astronomy Society rules and allow membership of the FAS and access to their group Third Party Insurance scheme.

There is no plan to have a permanent club room or observatory but have a friendly and polite group of astronomers with or without telescopes.
