Meade astrometric eyepiece

I was looking around for one of these for a project. All suppliers seem to be out of stock (although one says they will be available in mid-Nov) but Meade's website implies they are no longer made. Baader in fact claim that their microguide eyepiece is the only one now available (however, it is expensive, but very good I believe).

Does anyone know whether these are indeed still around?

Rother Valley Optics 'might' have one, otherwise there are several eBay listings from USA suppliers that will ship to the UK.

Agena Astro Products in the USA seem to have half a dozen in stock but appear to only ship internationally through their eBay store and not through their .com website.

Failing that, Bresser UK looks as though they have a customer returned item that might be worth a look.

If no luck try posting in the wanted section, I have one but it is still used regularly and want to hang onto it but you might find a few people have them languishing in their eyepiece cases unused and unloved.

I have the Meade one which is very similar to the Baader version as far as I can see, IIRC there's a small difference in the gradations.

These things seem to have increased in price dramatically.

I picked up a used 12.5mm Celestron Microguide ortho for about $45 earlier this year off of CN classifieds.  Keep watching the classifieds in the UK.
