From any sea level point on earth a 5'9" person can see 2.9 miles to the horizon, or there abouts. Seems obviously spherical to me.

It's an argument that is often ignored or talked over by the debunkers. It happens to be valid for an airless Earth: on such an Earth, when you are looking out over the sea, and your eye is 2 m above sea level, the horizon would be about 5 km away:

On a world with air, with the air pressure getting lower as you go up, things are different. 

From Katwijk I can easily see the base of the pier in Scheveningen, 12.5 km away, and the horizon is quite a bit further still:

This happens because atmospheric refraction allows rays leaving horizontally from about 30 km away, to reach the eye of an observer two metres above sea level.

 

The same refractive effect allows some sunlight to curve around the Earth and illuminate the Moon during a lunar eclipse. It also noticeably lifts astronomical objects that are close to the horizon, which you can see in Stellarium by turning on and off the atmosphere. And you get atmospheric colour fringing because the refractive index of air varies with the wavelength of light.

Flat Earthers suffer from Sfairesphobia....I like the definition:

Sfairesphobia is a condition in which the person is plagued by the fear of balls or spherical objects. This fear is most common in children ages 6-11 who play little league baseball. However, in rare circumstances this can persist into adulthood.

 

Besides you can't have a logical discussion with an illogical person, it doesn't work.

Newquay lat 50.4155° N

John-O-Groats lat 58.6373° N

And then try and explain the observation...........

Aside from all the ridiculous FE arguments, the tour website is worth a look if only to see a picture of the "Tour bus" (an old motorhome with poorly photoshopped text on the side!)
