the central spike move back and fore across the V (or X really) as you go through focus. so after a while you know which way and by how much to adjust the focus... I think Sanddune posted a video here...

I redesigned my site recently. Also, please note that the avi was taken with a NexImage on Vega - which is not really what the camera was made for but I thought it demonstrated the affect the mask had well enough.

Lovely colour, I much prefer the first one (just to be difficult), the second has lost a lot of vibrancy for me. The first is stunning, the second is just very good
