Meade 127 Trilpet Apo, 1st Light.

My Meade 127 Tripet arrived safe and sound and is now up and running. Warning; the dovetail supplied is not 'dovetail section' over enough of its length to fit an EQ6 but you might, like me, not initially notice this and put your scope at risk from horrible tinklings!! With a saw and a file you can make it fit if that's up your street. A new rail would be a better idea.

Anyway, here's what it can do. Working at f7.5 I only had 75mins L and 16.5 mins per colour (binned) because I was also experimenting with a Mintron in another scope. Using the 127 was a real pleasure. The focal length is pretty exciting for me after my usual 500mm.
