Skywatcher 120 F8 Evostar OTA

Recommended Posts

Skywatcher 120mm Evostar. F8 OTA
This 120mm OTA is as new condition, and is mint.
It will come with a 8x50 Finder 2 inch Diagonal with 1.25 inch adaptor.
It has only been used about five times and is a gem.
It comes with the new Skywatcher green dovetail bar.
I will post a picture, but better pictures will be sent to any interested buyer.
Please note this scope is an Achromat not an ED.
Asking £165.ono
Would prefer pickup, but if i have packaging would ship at buyers risk.
Mick.

Would willing to share half of postal costs, and will be very well packed.

The clear white small circle you can see in the lens in photo 3 is just the reflection of the opaque dust cap in the diagonal.

Oh, I would be tempted by this if I didn’t already have an Omni 120 f8.3 ‘frac already. That’s a great price for this scope. Shouldn’t take too long to budge. :)

Hi Mick

Is the scope still for sale or is someone considering the purchase? Also can I ask why you are selling?

Thanks

Hi.

The scope is still for sale.

The only reason i am selling it is because it does not get used enough.

I am mainly an imager in my obsy.I had the idea of setting up a visual scope whilst the camera was doing its job.

However the trials of imaging just kept me mostly in the obsy.

Also i would have to know the sky was going to clear for several hours.if i was to set up another scope out side.

Not easy in the UK.

I bought an EQ5 mount to go with the scope, and was advertised as well, but that has been SOLD.

So yea just sat not getting used which is a shame.

It is absolutey mint virtually new, and thats not a sales pitch,it just is.

Hope this info helps.

Mick.

Hi.

I live in a place called Beeford, Yorkshire East Coast.

I would post, and share half the costs.

Or drive a reasonable way,if not too far.

No worries though,if its not what you want.

Mick.

Thanks Mick. I am tempted but being newbie and looking for my first scope think I will stick to the SW newt and set up I have been reading about for last few mths. Thanks again and good luck with sale.
